Polls Open: 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Next Election: Primary Election (if held) June 14, 2016 for the purpose of nominating a candidate for the Republican Party for the office of U.S. House of Representatives for Virginia’s 1st congressional district. Should only one candidate qualify for the primary ballot, then no primary will be held. The candidate list will appear on the Virginia of Department of Elections website.

Last day to register to vote or make changes to your voter registration for this election: May 23, 2016

Absentee Voting
April 29, 2016: Absentee voting begins. Voters may vote in-person at the Registrar’s Office during regular business hours or request a ballot be mailed to you.
June 7, 2016: Application for an Absentee Ballot to be mailed must be received by 5:00 p.m.
June 11, 2016: Final day of absentee voting. Registrar’s office will be open for in-person absentee voting from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
