Voter and Election Information

A GENERAL ELECTION
WILL BE HELD IN KING AND QUEEN COUNTY
ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2014

Polls Open: 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Voters will cast a ballot for Member House of Representatives 1st Congressional District and U.S. Senate. There will be one Constitutional Amendment on the ballot.

Last Day to Register to Vote in this Election: Tuesday, October 14, 2014
To check your voter registration or get a Voter Card, call the Registrar’s Office at 804-785-5980.

Absentee and Early Voting:
Absentee Voting will begin September 19, 2014. Voters may vote in the Registrar’s Office during regular office hours. Absentee In-Person Voting will also be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Registrar’s Office.

You may request that a ballot be mailed to you. Your application to request that a ballot be mailed to you must be received in the Registrar’s Office by Tuesday, October 28, 2014.

The Virginia Department of Elections maintains a web site that will answer any question regarding the new Photo ID law, voting, voter registration, absentee voting, ballot content, etc.
